Nolte is a digital agency that develops web and mobile products. At the time of the project, they were transitioning to a business model that integrates design and creative processes to expand the scope of solutions developed by harnessing design, strategy, technology and creativity. This change called for a new visual identity that would reflect their transition and their core essence: Co-create relevant evolution.

The co-creation of relevant evolution idea is reinforced by the concept of symbiogenesis, which heightens the connection between teamwork and conjunct evolution. Therefore, the visual identity places collaboration and cooperation between 2 different beings in the center stage. This inspired one of the main elements for the VIS: The symbiotic O. An essential brand asset for Nolte. The symbiotic O gives the brand a dynamic element that can be ubiquitous throughout its expression. It strengthens the idea of constant movement and evolution, of how two elements can change and express differently while remaining honest to their essence. 

Always changing and always familiar. 

Besides the main symbiotic O asset, Nolte’s visual identity system included the basics such as a color palette, typographic hierarchy, a new custom wordmark and a grid system that can be adjusted to different layouts and scenarios, always trying to highlight the collaboration of 2 or more elements and creating visual tension. All of this guidelines were then applied to design a series of stationery, and collateral such as shirts, notebooks, pitch decks, and other major communication platforms like their website.
