What: Custom Logotype + Visual Identity System

Desert Luxury Living isa boutique real estate agency in Todos Santos, México. Desert Luxury Living, or DLL, is known for curating properties along the pacific coast of México with two main goals: First, they are committed to respecting the environment and the sustainable growth of the communities they work on, while maintaining the integrity of the land and its natural resources. And they also carefully evaluate their clients’ investment purpose, then curate the best properties on the market based on location, property value and profit opportunity, in order to maximize your Real Estate investment. All of this attention they pay to their clients’ needs and the environment in the neighboring communities required a visual identity that would reflect this with an added touch of luxury and exclusivity.

The project consisted of a set of identity elements and a series of collateral that went from basic stationery all the way to surf boards, which was a new and fun challenge for me.

Mimicking the properties they work with and the overall look & feel of the architecture in the area, DLL’s main identity symbols – logotype, icon and combined mark – use clean lines and shapes that give us a fresh and modern look which were then balanced with sophisticated details borrowed from common letterforms from the XVI century. The rest of the visual identity was then developed with a similar clean and minimal look that would convey this sense of exclusivity and luxury.
