Murales con Eco was a public art initiative led by artsynonym during the Covid-19 lockdown, created to bring moments of hope, positivity, and reflection to the city through uplifting visual messages. At a time marked by uncertainty and isolation, the project transformed urban spaces into sites of encouragement, using art as a gentle but powerful form of connection with the community.

I created lettering pieces that felt warm, positive, and easy to connect with. It was important to me that the words felt approachable and emotionally grounded, especially since people were encountering them during such a sensitive time.

Being part of Murales con Eco was one of the defining creative experiences of 2020 for me. It reaffirmed my belief in lettering as a tool for public dialogue and emotional impact, and in the ability of art to foster collective comfort during challenging times.
