Guinness: Open Gate Brewery
In 2021, while at Vault49, I collaborated on the launch of Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Chicago. Working from Tom’s creative vision, I developed a series of custom lettering pieces inspired by the city’s bold typographic heritage, which were applied across merchandise such as shirts, jackets, tote bags, and limited-edition prints for the brewery’s opening. I also created bespoke lettering installations for the interior, helping the brand’s atmosphere carry consistently across multiple touchpoints. In addition, I contributed to design explorations and type lockups for an upcoming Guinness beer, focusing on layouts that aligned with the bottle labels and outer packaging, and refining complementary typographic systems.
